FIBES, Sevilla’s Convention and Exposition Center, will host the World Purebred Spanish Horse Championship from the 19th to the 24th of November. This 34th edition unfolds as the world’s greatest equestrian event dedicated in full to the Purebred Spanish Horse.

The Iberian horse is enjoying a remarkable rise in international prestige, and the U.S. market has become one of the most important stages for its expansion. Increasingly, breeders, riders and equestrian enthusiasts are turning their attention to the Pure Spanish Horse (Pura Raza Española, PRE) and the Lusitano.

In this global context, one event stands out above all others: IBERICON.

After a groundbreaking debut in 2024, Ibericon has transformed the international equestrian calendar with its unique mission: to place the Iberian horse at the very heart of the American stage. Now, from October 13–19, 2025, Ibericon returns with renewed energy at one of the world’s premier equestrian venues, the World Equestrian Center (WEC) in Ocala, Florida.

This year, USPRE Week will proudly be held during IBERICON, bringing together the PRE community with an extraordinary program of events, celebrations, and showcases dedicated to the Pure Spanish Horse.

The Dressage Star Series will provide identical competition opportunities in each of the nine regions defined by the United States Dressage Federation (USDF). USPRE dressage riders will have the chance to compete for Championship and Reserve Championship honors against others in their region. At the conclusion of the series, an additional Grand Champion across all regions will be awarded

The international equestrian calendar features several major events in Europe: SICAB in Seville for the Purebred Spanish Horse, Golegã for the Lusitano, Verden for the Hanoverian, and Vechta for the Oldenburg. Across the Atlantic, IBERICON has established itself as one of the leading meeting points for the Iberian horse in the United States, hosted at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala.
