GENERAL INFORMATION FOR SICAB 2013

As is customary this time of year, preparations are underway for SICAB to become the best showcase for the Purebred Spanish Horse This newsletter provides you with basic information about the event

DATE

SICAB 2013 will be held between the 3^rd and 8^th of December

 STUD FARM CATALOG

Annually, SICAB prepares an official catalog where all those stud farms who so desire may contract publicity  Tuesday, the fifth of November is the deadline to request the inclusion of publicity and to send in the original text/photos Included herein is the request form for Catalog publicity; please fill out the form and send it back to the ANCCE office  This request form indicates the current fees for publicity this year 

 Remember, there is limited publicity space  If you are interested, it is best to reserve now!

BREEDER STAND
This year, the location of breeders’ stands will be in Pavilion 1, the same as last year, where there will also be an arena for mares

Those breeders who send in their stand reservation before August 31 will be able to select the location where they want their stand  Nevertheless, stand location is based on order of arrival, but always respecting seniority and previous locations

The deadline for contracting a stand is the 30^th of October 2013  To formalize your reservation, you must fill out the form—included herein—and make the corresponding €600 deposit

As of August 31, all other reservations will be accepted from breeders who did not participate in SICAB 2012, but following strict order of arrival Likewise, the reservation is considered processed as of the date that the €600 deposit has been made

The amount deposited formalizes the reservation  In all cases, the deposit should be made to the ANCCE at La Caixa Bank with account number 2100 2320 55 0200168822 SWIFT Code: CAIXESBBXXX and Iban code: ES98-2100-2320-5502-00168822  Remember, should there be a cancellation after the October 30, 2013 deadline, the organizers will not return this deposit

All specifications for setting up stands, schedules and general use are specified in the Breeder Stand Contract, which will be sent in due course The prices for Full Members are the same as in 2012 Two-floor stands are not allowed, nor any stand that is raised off the floor We understand that breeders will be using videos, music or musical shows at their stand; therefore, a fee of €100 will be charged by the SGAE Copyright Authority for each stand

 ENTRIES OF HORSES FOR THE FINAL OF THE SICAB 2013 SPANISH NATIONAL CONFORMATION CHAMPIONSHIPS

A Closing dates for the receipt of entries:

1 For horses that have taken part in any competition on the official ANCCE calendar: 5 November

 2 For horses that have not taken part in any competition on the official ANCCE calendar,  and should there be room: 15 November

 3 Horses entered after the closing dates: up until the week before the day on which reception of horses takes place, 24 November, and should there be room

 B Priorities regarding entries for horses that have not participated in any competition on the official ANCCE calendar:

1 Up to 8 horses owned by members of ANCCE who have entered other horses that have taken part in some competition

2 Up to 8 horses owned by non-members of ANCCE who have entered other horses that have taken part in some competition

3 Up to 4 horses owned by members of ANCCE who have not participated in any competition

4 Up to 4 horses owned by non-members of ANCCE who have not participated in any competition

 C Preferential Right: 

Those horses participating in the conformation competition, no matter what their situation is, shall have priority over those that are only attending for reasons of exhibition

 ENTRY FEES:

A Horses that have participated in a previous competition:

                - Full Members of ANCCE: €125 for the first 3 horses and €110 from the fourth onwards

                - Associate Members: €180

                - Non Members: €300

 B Horses that have not participated in a previous competition:

                - Full Members of ANCCE: €150

                - Associate Members: €200

                - Non Members: €400

 C Horses entered after the deadline: 

In all cases €400

Detailed information about ticket prices for SICAB 2013 is provided below:

 FAIR GROUNDS:

General entrance ticket from Tuesday to Sunday: €12                                                                  

Half-day ticket, as of 4pm 1600h, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: €8

 SHOW

Wednesday: €12

Thursday, Friday, Saturday morning and Sunday: €15

Saturday night: €18
