Janne Rumbough Glides to Victory in Markel Amateur Winter Dressage Championships Presented at Gold Coast Dressage Association Finale I and II

West Palm Beach, Florida – With 33 blue ribbons under her belt this from this year's Florida winter circuit, Janne Rumbough earned the right to become a multiple champion in this year's Markel Amateur Winter Dressage Championships Last year, Rumbough captured the First Level championships with JR This year, she was crowned champion during the April 11-12 Gold Coast Dressage Association Finale I and II for Training and First levels with Winnie Too and crowned champion for Second and Third levels with JR "I'm thrilled What a great honor," Rumbough said She really worked for her championship awards saying that after every show she studied her tests and videos of her rides to learn how she could improve for the next show
Janne Rumbough also said she's not missed a day of riding this season, other than the Mondays her horses have off Her training system has clearly paid off for her In addition to the 33 wins she's had since December, she also earned several red ribbons and frequently earns scores in the 70s
While the ribbons are nice, Rumbough said they are not the most important thing "What really matters is that my horses have gone through the season and they are healthy, happy and not lame and they have shown a lot," she said Both JR, a seven-year-old PRE gelding, and Winnie Too, a six-year-old American Warmblood mare, are sired by Rumbough's PRE stallion Gaucho She's hoping her success with the two will get more people out showing with Gaucho's offspring, of which there are more than 100
"And I don't even have the best ones Gaucho has some fabulous babies and now everyone can see that these Gaucho babies can really get out there and do it," Rumbough said "I won all those ribbons with just these two horses and now the championships It's really great that Markel offers this for amateurs"
