Second 2012 Revision Tour Success

The second Revision tour in North America which commenced on September 17th 2012 concluded today as Dr Jaime Chapa departed Miami to return to his LG-ANCCE operating base in Madrid The fifteen 15 site tour started in Calgary, Canada and included - southern & northern California, Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Texas, Illinois, South Carolina, Florida and Puerto Rico  One of the multiple memorable events of the trip was that Dr Jaime Chapa revised the first PRE horse on Puerto Rican soil Dr Chapa commented - "  I am very much impressed with the high quality of the PRE horses bred in the United States and Canada North American Breeders are breeding very well and a product they should be most proud of "  USPRE extends a special acknowledgement to Site Coordinators Christa Probson in Texas, Karen Rock in Illinois and Gustavo Aldana in California [caption id="attachment_4768" align="aligncenter" width="300"] R Madrigal, J Chapa, L Rodriguez, G Aldana[/caption] [caption id="attachment_4779" align="aligncenter" width="300"] Dr Chapa, Dieter & Christa Probson                  Rancho Andalucia[/caption] [caption id="attachment_4769" align="aligncenter" width="300"] Dr Chapa riding with Karen Rock in Illinois[/caption] [caption id="attachment_4770" align="aligncenter" width="300"] Hacienda Don Carmelo, Puerto Rico[/caption] [caption id="attachment_4771" align="aligncenter" width="300"] Melba Figueroa, family & crew[/caption] Here are a few Breeder comments: Dr Suzy Fisher in Kansas said - “ Dr Chapa conducted Revision at Walnut Creek Ranch in a very professional manner Not only was he knowledgeable, personable and friendly, he took the time to educate all of  us and answer any questions we had regarding our horses or the revision process" Sandy Panagini in Fraser, Colorodo - “ I must say, that everything went off without a hitch   Dr  Chapa was certainly very focused at the revision, and explained everything that he was doing and looking for This is the first time that someone has taken the time to explain the standards in a very understandable fashion   As a representative of ANCCE , Dr Chapa explained that his job was to assist breeders in many facets  Consequently, we had some questions in regards to Spain and breeding, and Dr Chapa was very open and helpful in answering many of these questions, and offered to assist in some of our needs  I was quite impressed in working with ANCCE and their representatives  I know that USPREA and ANCCE are making great strides in moving the PRE horse into a world class group"  Sherry McGaillard in Pilot Point, Texas - “ Thanks to ANCCE / USPRE for the 2012 Fall Revision in Texas Special thanks to Dr Chapa who traveled from Spain and who was very nice and a very special thank you to our gracious Texas Revision site hosts, Christa and Dieter Probson Both Nobleza ADP and Dominanta L are now revised “  Melba Figueroa in Puerto Rico - “ Hola - I want to thank you for the excellent coordination of Dr Chapa’s visit My family, friends, students, riders and Veterinarian  of the Puerto Rico Equestrian Art School and Hacienda Don Carmelo, had the opportunity of enjoying Dr Chapa’s company and the historical Revision of the first PRE horses in our island Dr Chapa is a true professional in his field who not only performed the Revision, but also took the time to learn about our educational projects, the development of horse trainers at our Equestrian Art School, our interest in developing the PRE horse for our school and helped us with his experience at our new endeavor, assigned by the Puerto Rico Equestrian Federation , to start and develop the fist Endurance team in Puerto Rico  We also had time to relax and enjoy Dr Chapa’s company in a family setting that gave us the chance to lay out the foundation for the development of an enriching professional and friendship relationship that we all want to cultivate “ The first Revision next year will be in April 2013
