Spanish Olympic Dressage Team

Jean Bemelmans, coach of the Spanish Dressage Team, has announced the selection of the following horse and rider pairs to represent Spain in the 2008 Olympic Games in Hong Kong next month:

Juan Manuel Munoz and Fuego XII Beatriz Ferrar Salat and Faberge Jordi Domingo and Prestige This year's team has only one PRE horse, Fuego XI, who has outranked the other team members in the last three important CDI's in Europe - Saumur, Rotterdam and Aachen last weekend, where Munoz and Fuego were ranked in the top portion of all of the classes among German and Dutch team hopefuls Fuego XII is a 1998 PRE Stallion out of Utrerano VII by Mundana II, bred by Joaquin Marquez Gonzalez and now owned by Miguel Angel Cardenas
