Victor Alvarez Seminar
Spanish National Dressage Team Member Victor Alvarez will conduct a Seminar on the Principals of Dressage for the PRE Horse and All Breeds in Wellington, Florida on Monday, February 11th from 1:30 to 4:30 pm, sponsored by the United States PRE Association USPRE Victor Alvarez is the founder and Director of the CAVA Center for Dressage and Competition near Barcelona He has competed internationally at Grand Prix level for many years with PRE horses and has traned in Germany with Herbert Rehbein and George Theodorescu and others He has been that Coach for the Spanish Young Rider Team, is a National-Level Dressage Judge in Spain, and is a current member of the Spanish National Dressage Team With his young Grand Prix horse, Iles, Victor competed this past year successfully in several CDI's in Europe, including the European Championships last summer Last November, Victor and Iles placed Third in the Grand Prix behind Juan Matute and Beatriz Ferrar Salat at the Spanish National Dressage Championships
Victor's academic and classical styleof riding has been called "aristocratic" and he brings his knowledge of the German training system to the instruction of all breeds His first Wellington Seminar will focus on the application of the classical training system to the different breeds
