USPRE Salutes Jose Antonio Garcia Mena & Norte for the 2010 World Equestrian rides which distinguished them as serious contenders for the 2012 London Olympics To know Jose Antonio is to know a talented and determined Grand Prix dressage rider of international caliber Based in Jerez de la Frontiera, Jose Antonio Mena rode under renowned D Alvaro Domecq  for several years and more recently was entrusted to train three 3 of his Grand Prix horses Committed to Norte, D Miguel Lovera Norte Owner, his colleagues on the team and the Spanish Federation, Jose Antonio turned down a lucrative training position in the United States earlier in the year to attend WEG 2010 for Spain The timing of the games also precipitated a few personal sacrifices - Jose Antonio celebrated his 30th birthday on September 22nd in Lexington and he missed the wedding of his sister on October 2nd 2010 Jose Antonio Garcia Mena and 10 year-old Norte are destined for more international accolades & world recognition
